    Freshdownload, while it works as a basic downloader, doesn't do much to increase your download speeds from my experience.

    Trying to uninstall? Its says uninstalled but when you look at your registry, FD is all over the place - be prepared to take 30 minutes with a good registry search/edit tool. About 15 search terms later....

    Nice tool; does what it says it does. Could be prettier and would be nice if would edit existing entries; having said that, new entries and their removal is down right simple.

    Author has deleted my comment a few times and has not responded to any questions.

    UPDATE: There is no reason for a ftpopen or getconnection for this software. Packet analysis underway. And yes, the authors website comments seem to get removed. Virustotal results moving up. Perhaps the author can explain net connections for what should be a stand-alone software program?
