  1. Review - CCleaner for Windows

    1.27.242 Beta (Jan 23, 2006)

Crap Cleaner is one of those MUST HAVE utilities for sure. Best feature being how it adds menu item to the recycle bin right-click menu so you dont have to create desktop and start menu shortcuts :) Keep up the good work.

  2. Review - Mozilla Firefox (v2) for Windows

    1.5 Beta 1 (Sep 9, 2005)

The only two features that i had been wanting in this browser have finally arrived. You can not drag the tabs around, and there is an option to make all links that open a new window actually open a new tab instead ! :-) woo hoo !

  3. Review - NASA World Wind

    1.3.2 Test (Aug 16, 2005)

Comming from NASA I would have expected a little more... I find that this software makes looking and zooming very easy for the average user, but advaced stuff is a little tricky to understand (fair enough). The quality when zoomed in to the max is shocking! I mean, whats the point in zooming in far enough that the a single pixel takes up more than your entire screen? O.o

  4. Review - OpenOffice.org for Windows

    2.0 (Snapshot Build 1.9.m122) (Aug 2, 2005)

Very nice free software! The only reason I still use Ms Office is because OpenOffice is soooo sloooow. Even with the quick launcher thingy it doesnt load up any faster O.o if it loaded anywhere as fast as Office it would get 5 stars without a second thought.

  5. Review - ObjectDock

    1.2 (Jul 12, 2005)

I saw this in a theme showing somewhere at customize.org and wondered where they got that task bar looking thing... I FOUND IT :-) and I love it :-)

  6. Comment - Images: Windows Vista Build 5219

    1.2 (Sep 16, 2005 - 10:38 AM)

the minute you right-click or head anywhere apart from "my documents" ant it looks and acts just like XP again! That is that part that would stop me from purchasing Vista. Fortunately we have seen a lot of change lately from the original Alpha's and concepts, but Microsoft is really going to have to get its A into G if this is going to be a real success story.

  7. Comment - Sasser Worm Author May Face 2 Years

    1.2 (Jul 7, 2005 - 9:15 PM)

So he wrote a worm that tries to hunt down and delete other bad worms... how is that bad? seriously, imho he was trying to do a good thing..

Microsoft: "hey, this guy is trying to delete worms that are affecting Windows, hell, we'd better put out a reward for his capture!"

    WTF!

  8. Comment - Nokia Unveils Handheld Linux Tablet

I'm really curious as to how we are surposed to type addresses, and how we are surposed to select links with this device. I dont see a keyboard and there is no mention of it being a touch screen.

  9. Comment - Yahoo! Unleashes Desktop Search Beta

    1.2 (Jan 12, 2005 - 8:18 AM)

I really dont like any of the desktop search applications mainly because they didnt search PDF's ... Yahoo's one did so I jumped on it ... well, it has a couple nice things that the competition doesnt (preview for example, and more file types) but the interface is not as simplistic as it could easily be! Just improve the interface and this could be a really good application in my opinion.

  10. Comment - Electronic Arts Spawns The Sims 2

    1.2 (Sep 19, 2004 - 9:36 PM)

Dude, I have purchased both Doom3 and The Sims 2 which have this protection. I completely uninstalled Nero and Daemon Tools and it still said there was emulation software installed ;)
