  1. Review - Google Chrome for Windows

    8.0.552.0 Beta (Oct 14, 2010)

Chrome is the best browser available. Anyone who calls Chrome spyware is an ignoramus in terms of how modern browsers work.

  2. Review - TeraCopy

    2.2 Beta (Sep 11, 2010)

I have not used the latest version of Teracopy, so I will rate it middle-of-the-road. However, my previous experience with it has been hit and miss. Sometimes it would copy the files, sometimes it wouldn't, or wouldn't completely copy--especially over the network. It was just too hit and miss, and I'm afraid that I can't support it.

  3. Review - Logitech SetPoint (32-bit)

    6.15.25 (Jul 28, 2010)

I've been using SetPoint and a G5 mouse for a couple of years, and the only complaint I have is that I have not found a way, through SetPoint's interface, to disable the BlueTooth service it installs. I have no BlueTooth devices, so it is useless to me, and yet I cannot remove it. Aside from that, the software offers good features and functionality (even though it's a little bloated).

  4. Review - Safari for Windows

    5.0.1 (Jul 28, 2010)

Safari is still the worst web browser on the market.

  5. Review - Panda Cloud Antivirus Free Edition

    0.08.83 Beta (Oct 11, 2009)

I've been using this on several computers for some time now, and I love it. The lack of 64-bit support sucks, but I was in touch with a company rep about it and it will be added in the future. This latest version supports Windows 7, and I have no intention of using any other free AV package for any of my 32-bit installs.

  6. Comment - Google is right to demand people use real names

    0.08.83 Beta (Jul 26, 2011 - 12:53 PM)

If you don't want to, or can't, use your real name, there is no one holding a gun to your head forcing you to use the service.

  7. Comment - Google Labs shutting down, taking down brilliant experiments with it

    0.08.83 Beta (Jul 20, 2011 - 5:12 PM)

My guess is, they're going to start up some other division for this kind of thing.

  8. Comment - LulzSec outdoes WikiLeaks in stunning disclosure of Arizona documents

    0.08.83 Beta (Jun 24, 2011 - 11:35 AM)

They're not terrorists, but they're certainly not white hats either.

  9. Comment - LulzSec outdoes WikiLeaks in stunning disclosure of Arizona documents

    0.08.83 Beta (Jun 24, 2011 - 11:33 AM)

@mytake4this Any system is hackable: it all depends upon its configuration. That's why it is important to have good admins on the job.

  10. Comment - Look to the heavens and fight malware with Panda Cloud Antivirus 1.5

    0.08.83 Beta (Jun 23, 2011 - 11:19 AM)

From what I've read, in many AV tests this product fairs very well. I've been using it on some VMs for quite some time and haven't had any problems.
