   the version of eMule hasn't changed, just the installer which now correctly sets permissions for the program folder under Vista/7 so that a shared config works properly with multiple accounts on the same machine.

   Finds more updates than the FileHippo.org updater. The only slight annoyance is the download site, which has an unnecessary second page you have to click through to get to the actual download. For the ads, I guess.

   Were you using a crack? The software might check your key against a blacklist, or, if a checksum of the executable fails, deliberately write coasters. The fact that they pass verification makes me even more suspicious.
   My apologies if this is not the case.
