   8.10 (Intrepid Ibex) Release Candidate (Oct 26, 2008)

   Development/Release team does not care for users opinions...
   Event Sounds do not work;
   Suspend does not work;
   Hibernation does not work;
   Some keyboard layouts do not work;
   No Openoffice 3.0
   
   All these bugs were intensively reported by many many users (in launchpad.net and ubuntu forums), also by me, no replies at all:(
   The sound bug is easily solved with some updates to libcanberra, but the release team refused to include in RC, probably the fix won't make it to final too:(
   It sounds too amateur for me, shame on release team...

   I second that! This would be great, i always had problems trying to install some plugins and java with firebird, actually it never worked :(
   But firebird 0.8 is really fast!
