  1. Review - Free Shortcut

    1.2 (Jun 9, 2008)

    !!!ROFLMAO!!!
I'd give this five stars for being a joke. But it's serious. So you get the one star award for being silly.

    I have to ask though...why?

Open browser, type address in address bar, press enter, drag the little icon left of the address bar onto the desktop. Simple.

    Or alternatively...

Right click on desktop, select New, select Shortcut, click Next, give it a name, click Finish.

    No extra software needed.

  2. Review - The Rasterbator

    1.21 (May 23, 2008)

First off - anomoly...What type of review was that?!

    Unbeleivable.

Ok now for the review...for those who DO have a printer :P

This program is very easy to use, and quite fun too. Beware printing poster sized pictures on a bubblejet will use a LOT of ink. But a life sized poster of the tardis is pretty cool (my son's into the new Doctor Who).

If nothing worth a go for a bit of fun.

  3. Review - Audacity for Windows

    1.3.5 Beta (May 8, 2008)

This is an excellent open source sound editor. Simple enough GUI that you don't need to be a rocket scientist to use with multiple tracks so you can splice and dice various streams easily.
    Worth a try.

    Tarrith.

BTW, if you want it to be like another program that costs money...go buy the other program or become one of the open source developers instead of whining.

  4. Review - Graphic Workshop Professional

Oh how the mighty has fallen.

  5. Review - Ubuntu

    8.04 Alpha 2 (Dec 26, 2007)

    Point Zero,

You comments and rating of this OS defines the complete lack of understanding about this operating system.

For those who know better, this Linux based OS reliable without unnecessary bloatware but is highly configurable that even the most experienced Linux user would appreciate.

When Beryl is installed it makes Vista's 3d task manager look second rate at best.

Ubuntu. It can only get better.

Freedom, is a concept that is propagated by those already indentured in slavery, true freedom knows no limits and therefore is impossible to attain.
