  1. Review - Maxthon (v2)

    0.7.435 Beta (Feb 21, 2003)

This new version really does a lot of cosmetic cleanups. Thank you. Highly recommended.

  2. Review - PuTTY

    0.53b Beta (Nov 14, 2002)

I agree with all the other comments here. Putty is by far the best and not because it's free, that's just a bonus.

  3. Review - BlackMoon FTP Server

    2.0.2.1657 (Mar 24, 2002)

This is very promising to become a strong competitor with Serv-U and BPFTP Server. Nice interface, light on resources, runs as a NT service, remote administration, virtual folders, etc..

  4. Review - Hide Folders XP

    1.0 RC2 (Mar 8, 2002)

Goshy, you're wrong because the purpose of this utility flew right over your head. Note the name, it gives it right away. While you can encrypt and restrict access on an NTFS volume, the directories names are still visible. If you share a local system with someone, perhaps only the presence of a folder named TeenageButSex is enough to raise some concerns.

  5. Review - Creative PC-DVD Encore Dxr3 Drivers for Windows 2000/XP

    Beta (Dec 17, 2001)

Agreed, and these drivers will probably be in beta until the next release of windows.

  6. Comment - Symantec Closes Open Door for Viruses

    Beta (Feb 11, 2005 - 10:15 AM)

    I can't find it either.

  7. Comment - Grand Theft Auto Comes to San Andreas

    Beta (Mar 16, 2004 - 3:31 PM)

Thank you for your recommendation about my reading skills. You yourself may want to learn how to communicate in a mature manner because personal attacks only make you out to be foolish. That article still does not refute the specifications that I stated. Those are facts and unfortunately for you, can not be argued.

  8. Comment - Grand Theft Auto Comes to San Andreas

    Beta (Mar 11, 2004 - 4:44 PM)

From a technical standpoint, the Xbox's hardware is defiantly superior with or without the hdd. Everything from the CPU to the ram is twice as much or more in speed and size. Those are "the facts" and not an opinion.

  9. Comment - Grand Theft Auto Comes to San Andreas

    Beta (Mar 10, 2004 - 4:04 PM)

I don't understand what you mean when you say I was way off. The article you posted even confirmed them correct.

  10. Comment - Grand Theft Auto Comes to San Andreas

    Beta (Mar 9, 2004 - 1:21 PM)

PS2 has a 150MHz "Graphics Synthesizer" and the Xbox has a 233MHz nvidia XGPU. In addition to 32MB rambus memory where the Xbox has twice as much with 200MHz DDR ram. The PS2 can do between 60 to 40 million polygons a second compared to 100+ million on the Xbox. Also, the PS2's cpu is 300MHz compared to a 733MHz chip in the Xbox and of course the Xbox includes a NIC and hard drive. As you can see, hardware wise, the Xbox is far superior and does make quite a significant difference contrary to just a "little".
