1.0 Beta 2 (Sep 9, 2000)
program does what its intended to do, although the image seems to get cut a tad if you keep increasing the tile numbers.
program is a HUGE memory hog, when i was finished with it it was taking pu 42MB of memory..
win2k sp1, p2/350, 128mb pc100...
1.0 Beta 2 (May 31, 2000)
i can't rate the program since i haven't tried it but i have a comment regarding copying of any file size to a different location on one drive...
it takes 2 seconds, for any file size in win2k already, fat32/16 and ntfs..
good idea for drive to drive, but i don't see a point with win2k copying files on the same drive.

There is one small problem I can see with that theoretical upturn in the Linux "business sector" if you dare to call it that.
First, and foremost, Linux is free. I don't care how many retail boxes you *think* you can sell to a world so wired that NAPSTER revolutionized the it, but it isn't.
Second, it's really not that easy to learn. (And bring to a useable state that you would have arrived at 4 weeks earlier had you been using Windows or MacOS).
Thirdly, MacOSX. I mean, every Linux user out there knows in their heart that even though Linux is the gravy train, BSD is the bottom b****. Once/If OSX gets ported to x86 *fingers crossed*, I can only hope, (and pray and beg and ..), that Linux finally finds the tombstone it so obviousley deserves.
Lastly, there is no g**d*** upturn in the economy. Get yer ****in head on straight :)

Lets begin with a quote or two.
Microsoft's Jim Allchin said during the WindowsXP announcement that Linux is "an intellectual property destroyer" because of its open source nature.
So to all the businessmen who have WinAmp running on their desktops and laptops at work and everywhere inbetween, please take note of the case of Metallica vs. Napster! This should provide you with a solid foundation to base your prejudice. Either accept the fact that intellectual property doesn't matter as long as you aren't releasing crap, because with quality comes respect, or stop sharing mp3's!
Bloomberg quotes Allchin as saying "I'm an American, I believe in the American Way, I worry if the government encourages open source, and I don't think we've done enough education of policy makers to understand the threat."
An American who knows the American Way and can only truly say the American Way is the best because the Non-American Way doesn't provide the cash to keep us all in BMW's.
Patches mean more money, long-term!!!!!
So children, march forth, and buy buy buy, keep that dollar bill rollin', someone let Microsoft have all the guns and it's time to cash in!!! Quality bedamned!
And if Microsoft can build a better product than Linux, what will happen when they fall prey to the BSD's and SCO's of unix?
Hopefully certain death.. Microsoft X-Box

more important than the security of the internet and the stupidity of mankind, is the validity of the claims brought forth by the world at large.
DDoS is around because someone wrote the program. DDoS still exists because it's effective.
fixing it?
hahaha
i hate playing devil's advocate, but in my personal opinion, coined "script kiddies", are probably more powerful than any corporation that exists today simply because of their sheer distributed power.
illegal or not. fight on. :)

it's too bad to see that consumerism has taken over the free right of human beings once again.
i'm sorry napster, i'll leech you for all your worth now, and set up a private ftp site for those whom i consider worthy of my regard - just like i've always done.
fight fight fight fight.
and my best regards to the author and anyone contributors to napster, it's been a great ride and you showed the world what freedom tastes like.
all good things come to an end.. :(
