I wasn't expecting much but I have to say this program rocks. It's fast, simple, and tons of options. More importantly I can now go to web sites that only use Microsoft formats. So far stable.

JolinFire - Not to cut you down...well maybe yes. This product has always recived high reviews. I have installed it on well over 100 PC at work, family, friends, and clients. Everyone loves it. Then you judge it within minutes, not to mention you can't even convey good reason why you don't like it. I have to assume you don't know how to test software just because you don't know how to use it. It is a very simple program - it's to bad you can't learn it.

I have the AIW 9700 Pro. I hate when ATI has new drivers. Why you might ask. If you have the AIW card, there is about 12 things to uninstall and install. When the driver gets updated, almost all there other stuff to support the AIW does too. You have to do everything in a certain order or sometimes it doesn't work. Why can't they just have 1 driver for the video, 1 driver for the AIW stuff. Not 12 different things to install. Everytime a new driver comes out, it takes me about 30 to 40 minutes to do all the updates. You could say, why put the updates on then, because they have enough software issues, I'm just hoping they fix them, so I install.

It works. Not much to say but it worked. But this should be free. I can see this is nice but for my money, I'll just click cancel.

The program just works. I've been using it for over a year. It's stable, skinable with WindowBlinds. The email feature works great too. My only complaint where it saves the database. I never backup my program files directory. I wish it woudl save my settings and call history in the My Documents folder, something I back up.
3.4.1 (Apr 14, 2004 - 12:36 PM)
I agree. Let me buy it for 3,000. Give me the first year. If I have to go in and say I need 3,000 + 2000 + a little more for the other guy. It woudl not be approved.

Microsoft and Sun are ran by people all over the world. Not just native born Americans. Are you stupid? Just because a headquarters is located here doesn't mean they only hire Americans. So if they have people from all nationalities working for them (all the way to management), then it's Stupid Humans :) Get it right :)

I do agree with you but on that same note, when I bought my TV, I get ads. When I pay for directTV, I get ads. When I go to the movies, I get ads. When I drive down the street that my tax dollars are paying for, I get ads. It's a fact of life. Bad or Good.
As for Linux (which I like myself), they well never get there act together to replace Windows. The fact is, that most people just want to use computers and have tons of software choices (Windows does this). On a different note though Linux is just an unstable as any GUI OS. Linus in text command mode only is stable as hell but so is DOS. One you add on Video drivers, OpenGL, Sound drivers, USB drivers, Scanner, Digital Camera, Joy Stick. They all have issues.
Also note at Activewin.com the new 2 month internet monitoring shows Windows at 97% of the market, 1.7 for Mac and less for Linux. This number are from memory and may be off but not by much.
Personnally I hope that Windows, Linux, BeOS and Mac 10.2 all get replace by something better. I'd hate to think that any of these that are sooooo close are the best of the best.

If you don't like "typical US capitalism" then stop using US products. Remove Windows, Remove OS 10.2 (Apple), and any flavor of Unix (Berkley CA). Capitalism in any country my nature it to sell you crap. To sell you something requires advertising. OK, now that I vented... I agree I hate with AOL put an icon on the desktop, one by the clock, one in the start menu, one in my favorites and so on. I hate that :)

The fact is Apple had all the ideas (icons, desktop, mouse, 3.5 inch floppies, built in scsi, built in networking). They were pioneers, they cost more but they gave you everything.
The fact is Apple sucks at marketing. They have no idea how to make people want their product. They will be used in college classes on what not to do.
The fact is, Apple had 65% of the market, then 45% then 20% then 4% then 11%, and now they are back to 5%.
The fact is, it's bad business to run your company on a platfrom that is only 5% of the market. A niche platform.
