   10 Beta 2 (May 29, 2006)

   I just purchased Bitdefender 9 standard..
   Can I update to this for free? Or would I have to purchase it again? I know some programs let you update to new versions when they come out..
   Just wondering if anyone knows. i would really appreciate it if someone knows.

   Review - Power Mixer

   Another great release!
   Some of you might not find a need for this. But, if you are like me, and use your pc as a recording studio, constantly changing volume levels for what you are doing, then this will save you sooo much time, and you will wonder how you lived w/out it.
   
   Check on their website, they might still be intersted in testers. I know I visited their site not too long ago and they were still looking.. if you e-mail them they MIGHT give you a free registration code. They did me, I think I was one of the first testers.. about 2 years ago and the code is still good. They are REALLY GREAT PEOPLE, anytime you e-mail them, about problems, suggestions, or anything they get right back to you. When you register is when it is really the best. cause you can make YOUR OWN HOTKEY configs, like I have one for recording... for when I'm ready to lay down a track, I have one for MIXING, I have one for when I'm making a beat with the headphones. If you do these sortof things, then you know how much you have to tweak to get it to sound right. All you have to do is save it as a preset and give it a hotkey, and with the press of 1 button go from RECORDING to MIXING.. or whatever you want.
   Like I said, if you REALLY want to TEST the software, you might want to e-mail them and tell them if they need people that you would be interested.

   Review - GMail Drive

   are you guys actually getting this thing to work? Every version that I have tried does the same thing. It comes up with an error, and says something like this might be a temporary issue, but more than likely google changed their service to block this tool.
   Am I doing something wrong? Are you suppose to UNINSTALL a previous version before installing a new one? Do you guys run it from windows explorer? I have tried that, and I have Xplorer2, and I have tried to do it through internet explorer. I have never got this tool to work. I think it would be sortof cool if I could get it to work. Please, someone, e-mail me if you know if I am doing something wrong, or know how to get it to work.

   Review - VLC (VideoLAN) for Windows

   The best player PERIOUD! I am YET to find a format that it won't play. I see people ask ALL THE TIME, how do I watch .bin movies, and they are told that they have to burn it with Nero or something, YEA if you wanna watch it on your tv, but allot of people think they have to go through that whole process just to watch it on the PC. This player plays EVERYTHING. I guess I have been using it for about a year and 1/2 now, ever since I found out about it, and I am yet to have a problem with it. It's not flashy, and doesn't have allot of eye candy, but honestly, Why would it need it? If you are watching movies, FULL SCREEN then what would be the point of having all the flashy stuff? Only to slow it down, and use more resources?
   If you havn't got this player yet, GET IT. It is the ONLY player you will ever NEED.
   I hope it sticks around for a long time. I'm always glad to see new updates to it.

   AWESOME!!!
   If you can't afford a Soundcard that has ASIO support at the moment, or if you are like me, and have MANY THINGS you need before buying a soundcard ONLY for ASIO drivers try this. I'm using AC'97 Drivers and it works PERFECT!
   There is a 2.6 version now.

6. Comment - Mozilla Firefox 1.0 Finally Arrives

   Hey, just letting you know that if you have the extension "all in one gestures" you can go into it's options... make, or edit current mouse gestures.. AND you can set lets say "UP" for instance to open a tab either in the foreground, or as a new window. I know you are talking about clicking on a link and its doin that, I can't think right now, but there is a way you can edit that also.. links to open in foreground, or as a new window.. and such. I know if you hold the middle mouse button and left click the link it will open it in a forground tab.
   
   I use Roboform also, and if I'm understanding you right, you are saying that when you open one of your Login sites or whatever that it changes the current page that you are on, and you don't like that.. is that right?? If so, this is what I do, I have the mouse gesture "move mouse UP" to open a new tab in forground and then choose which login I want from the roboform toolbar. that way it will open in the new tab.. If I have misunderstood you, I'm sorry.. just trying to help.

   ok, those with automatic updates will get it tuesday..
   I have a ? about that... does that mean when I go to system properties and I have windows updates to update and download auto.. OR does that mean that you have to have the BETA VERSION in order for it to automaticaly update?? Cause I heard that those with the SP2 beta will have it update automaticaly...
   So, if I have windows updates to update automaticaly in system properties, tuesday will I get the update in the system tray???
