  1. Review - Google Chrome for Windows

    1.0.154.36 Final (Dec 12, 2008)

    1. It's a fast browser
    2. It's a nice interface
    3. It's easy to use

Just one thing I'm after, addons, like ad block plus, etc. Nothing slows down browsing like ads on a webpage. 4/5 for being relatively good but no addons as of yet.

  2. Review - Amaya for Windows NT/2000/XP/Vista

    10.1-pre5 (Nov 17, 2008)

I looked into this as a possible website editor for the website a friend and I were working on and didn't get the feel for it. I tried for the life of me to get a simple black background on the page, after half an hour I wanted to bang my head against the wall. I'd much rather use KompoZer or Quanta Plus over this for the sake of handling webpages with a much more fluid grace. and easier to use interfaces.

  3. Review - Free Download Manager

    2.6.818 Beta (Nov 17, 2008)

    @ blahman
Hmmmm a trojan that steals your computer, that must be pretty amazing, does it make your computer get up and run away? Anyways, I've been using it for about 6 months now, its very good, very light and keeps my downloads from being dropped or eating up all my bandwidth. 5/5. I'd love to see a linux release if at all possible. ;)

  4. Review - EssentialPIM Free

    2.71 (Sep 17, 2008)

I prefer Open Source to Lite tools, but I have to admit, it works well for moving Outlook info to a different computer. It get a 4 for being Lite and not fully functional. Not a bad piece of software, would go well with Sylpheed.

  5. Review - Data Crow

    3.2.1 (Sep 17, 2008)

Just what I needed. I tend to review things and this is wonderful! Especially software, It's a wonderful program, runs well, and a good GUI. Kudos to the developers for making it Open Source.
@Victor - Have you ever looked at MediaPortal, you can database in that, and its again, Open Source.
