Re: "One thing, and this is probably not a Mozilla/Netscape thing but, many of my toolbars.. (yahoo, google) and addins are not supported. I believe that a product is not only guaged by its support of users, its also a good indication by developers that support it and make things work for it."
This has been brought to Google, and I believe Google will not be releasing any Google plug-in for Mozilla products. That said, many Google developers do use Firefox + the Google Bar extension (open-source extension at mozdev.org), and they love it! IMHO, Firefox doesn't need vendor support. It integrates a superb password manager, whereas IE would need commercial plug-in like RoboForm to do the same. Its download manager isn't as complete, but I'd imagine the dl manager to be able to compete with FlashGet, etc.. And it has many open-source extension available that simply blow the competitors away (for example, the Google Bar extension).
BTW, five star for security update.
2005 Beta "b" (Jul 4, 2004)
Never used any other AV before, so I don't know how Norton AntiVirus perform in comparison with competiting programs. However, I think there's cost to security. To me, Windows did slow down, though only noticeably on startup.
Norton AV seems to have trouble with a particular adware. 2004 version detected it but could not remove it. 2005 beta detected it but didn't even attempt to remove it.
My biggest complaint with this beta would be that I cannot use Norton Internet Security 2004 along with AV 2005 beta. The beta seems to expire 12 month after installation (like the retail 2004 version) though. Let's hope the beta is just as good as the 2004 retail version...

Personally, I find it questionable to remove advertisement that keep your software free. Killing annoying flash and popups is one thing, killing banner ads is another...

Clean and free. No spyware, popup, advertisement. And best of all, you don't need to install branded software (e.g. MSN Toolbar) to get the best experience.
