    cannot get rid of advertizing for upgrade. not as fast as Avast, nor as good at updates. You cannot get rid of this program. All files cannot be deleted. You must reformat your hard drive and reinstall Windows, to finally delete Avira. Stick with Avast! or a second choice could be Microsoft Security Essentials.
