    The most laughable thing about paltalk is the fact they say it's free. As one of the first beta-testers of this software I remember when it was free or almost free. In the beginning there was advertising but not to the extent it is now with popup ads every minute or so. It also use to only cost $9.00 per year

    Now this free program is up to $24.00 per year. What's up with that?

    The second most laughable thing about this software is it's claim of prefered support for people who have purchased the software. Well if you have ever waited for hours on end in the support rooms to try and get and answer then you know what I'm talking about. Although the idea is good it fails miserably in my opinion.

    Their claim is if you can't find the answer we will give you email support. Well forget that to. After many attempts at email support I finally gave up in frustration because all you ever receive is the canned autoresponder reply from email.

    In a final attempt to get the answer to a question that NO ADMIN had the answer for I found their phone number on my credit card statement and called them on the phone.

    Instead of answering my question I was asked by the person answering the phone "HOW DID YOU GET THIS PHONE NUMBER"?.

    If you notice this company has no contact information available other than email that they don't answer and the support rooms.

    Why are they so secretive about who and where they are? As one of the first beta-tests we know who some of them are and have a general idea of where they are. But based on the things that were said wayyyyyyyy back in the beginning is is very disappointing to see the direction they have taken.

    It is a good piece of software no doubt. But I have to question their tactics just a bit.

    Again good software maybe but true support that they claim is pittiful? Just as an example try getting your money back when they double charge your credit card. Better yet try get in contact with an actual human being at this company some time........
