Nice to be able to have tabs. However, MTPuTTY is not a "stand-alone" program. You need puTTY.

Very useful tool mainly for internal hard drives. Does not report the correct SMART infos for my external Western Digital 1TB drive. WD Diagnostic tools report this correctly and it is different!

Again, Microsoft is forgetting that Windows XP SP3 is supposed to be supported to 2014. New versions are dropping XP before then!!

"Sweathog" USBDLM is a completely different tool. It lets people control the drive letter. Do not confuse it with list out the USB devices that have been or are connected. Nirsoft has been consistent with unique tools to help configure Windows. USBDeview is a MUST for solving USB device problems.

CentOS is an "exact" copy of Red Hat, minus the "subscription" licensing structure. Why would you want to "pay" a annual to 3 year license to use the OS? CentOS gives you the RH style Linux without that "subscription" nonsense!!!

I was using Norton until the on-line tech support agent remote accessed onto my Windows XP in order to "fix" a Norton software problem. During this session, they use the Norton Removal tool which then "crashed" my XP. The removal tool needed to only be used after the standard uninstall process was done.
Since 2009, I am now using Avast! and the Windows firewalls in Windows XP and Windows 7

Windows 7 Family only for US customer. Not for North American customers!

Yeah! Buying Windows ready PCs now with over 4GB of RAM is the "norm." Why limit "ourselves" on the RAM nowadays!!!
