Works pretty good. But occasionaly the download counter resets & starts over repeatedly for Rapidshare. Appreciate the efforts, works well most of the time. |

no spyware works flawlessly for rapidshare.COM for me. it's not a provider crack!! it's just meant to save clicks and create a shedule and you can save passwords with the files. it watches the clipboard for urls. you need an account for rapidshare or megaupload and i guess for the other providers as well. at least it never worked for me with providers i had no account with (rapidshare.DE,megarotic) |

RapGet rocks! I wonder if the bug is fixed where downloading more then 15 files will crash RapGet. I love RapGet its so great to be able to download lots of files at one time. This is clean software! No spyware or any of that junk. |

Perezoso Your right, this file should be included in the program zip with and explanation to what to do. This program will automatically download from multiple file hosts at the same time, queueing downloads from the same file host until it can download them. This means that you do not have to be at your PC. You can just set up a pile of downloads and go and do something else and it will download them when it can. It makes downloading from hosts so easy and I give it a big thumbs up. Instructions for use when downloading from Rapidshare as a Free User!! The OpenSSL libraries are required to allow downloading from Rapidshareas a free User as Rapidshare have started using the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) when downloading from their website, this is a normal part of a browser such as Internet Explorer or Firefox. This has been done to try and stop download programs from auto downloading the files so people have to go to their site and see their advertisements. Using the OpenSSL libraries allows RapGet to access the secure protocol needed todownload from Rapidshare. Make a RapGet directory (decompress RapGet into a directory [folder] and then there are two possibilities either: 1] put the OpenSSL libraries into this folder and run RapGet fromthere. Test to make sure it is working and downloads without a large number of errors (I have not yet tested the new version of RapGet so this might of improved but version 1.11 did give me up to 10 errors before beginning downloading files, some gave errors and some downloaded immediately. 2] put the OpenSSL libraries in to the Windows System32 directory for Windows XP. Run RapGet and test for success. Both these methods have worked for some people, some have found one method more successful than the other, so try both. The OpenSSL libraries are now listed on the RapGet site to enable free downloading on Rapidshare with RapGet. The libraries shown on the RapGet site are OLDER than the ones listed in this thread. autodownloads from 65 free share services; a lot of concurrent downloads; multilingual support (46 languages). |

There is a new version 1.23, go to their home page and download the program But remember to also download the OpenSSL libraries if you don't the program wont work. This OpenSSL file should be included with the program An for that reason I give them a 4 |

Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. The last download I tried it on failed, then the timer came back and said I had to wait 1 hour! Rapidshare thought the download went through, but it really didn't. The latest is v1.11, and still has this issue. It works 90% of the time though. I think it has trouble interpeting the "Captcha" code. |

Excellent little program. One thing though, the 1.33 version is INSANELY crash-prone!! Crashes at a constant, predictable rate whether or not it is downloading. wtf. Went back to 1.32, everything 100% working. Guess I'll update when 1.34 comes out and try it again. |

for some reason this new 1.36 crashes on my system ( I am still on Win ME.. hehe.. but that's besides the point) :) Never in the past it crashed on me like that.. Can't even start the 1.36 .. even after fresh reboot.. - upon starting it, it crashes right there and then... Went back to 1.35 - No problem again :) There are around 250 links to files in my Rapget currently .. but that shouldn't crash it upon the starting it, as 1.35 - same amount of links inside the proggy - doesn't crash.. Oh well.. i guess for now i am with 1.35 |

Re: Perezoso, and all other complaints about the required OpenSSL. There is a reason for not including OpenSSL in the program. Read the license agreement again. ;-) To steal code from other authors is NOT allowed in my world or yours. Grow up kidz! |

I'm on 1.41, and it is fine for me. One thing gets me. You have to set your Premium account cookie in your browser first, and set Auto Downloads to On in Rapidshare Premium Zone, before the program will work, otherwise it behaves as if you're a Free downloader, even after putting your login details in to RapGet settings. I've called for this app to be opensourced, i could make it a lot better than the dev can, he's very slow updating it. |

@ wingo: 1. Do you have a reading disability? I explained TWICE that my problem is having two versions of the same libraries and even I posted a very simple workaround. RapGet depends on a very OLD and INSECURE version of OpenSSL libraries that should not be in your system32 folder. That's my complain. 2. Did you read the OpenSSL license yourself? This is NOT the GPL, Sherlock. Take a look: http://www.openssl.org/source/license.html License terms for redistribution are pretty trivial and many proprietary applications include these libraries (e.g. FlashFXP, Cobian Backup, etc). Next time, STFU. |

This thing doesn't work with OpenSSL 0.9.8b. I don't want to downgrade because that could break other apps. --- EDITED: Ok, if you have the same problem, I found a solution. 1) Extract OpenSSL libraries v0.9.6m using Universal Extractor. 2) Copy libeay32.dll and ssleay32.dll into RapGet's folder. 3) Restart RapGet. --- If this is so badly programmed that it depends on a specific version of libeay32.dll and ssleay32.dll, the author should package these files with his app. This is a half-assed job. 2 stars. |

since i think 1.31 or something like that (i forgot now), the program doesn't run any longer on Windows ME that i am running here (hehe - ya.. i am still on ME.. - i know i should switch soon))) It just crashes.. I have 1.31 still installed - cuz i keep there megaupload's links .. (like a database of a sort))) Other than that.. can't use it any longer.. Let me see if this 1.39 any better..
