Too bad. Used to be portable. Now if you remove the ap data folder it can do nothing. The uninstaller leaves EVERYTHING behind as well. The ini needs option for portable location (root). |

It's the best internet streaming TV. I bought one that doesn't update the streams like JLC does. And lets face it there are lazy programers and also lazy PORN viewers who look for it everywhere! |

Good program. Needs more moderation of active streams. Online TV Player does this better with teh same streams http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail/1112784627/1 HOWEVER It has both a 15-day timeout and fee associated with it. IMHO that makes that program very bad in comparison. I still prefer this program for this service, as every one of these streams are free to air, save for the adult content. The feature that MAKES this program so great is ability to add your own streams when you find them. so even if JLC does not have it listed, YOU can add it to your list on your own. Very nice feature... No one else does that on the same level as this program. |

This software is excellent. This is a true web 2.0 style software: the list of channels is constantly updated by users, so you will always get an up-to-date channel list. The more people will use this software, the better it will get. The developper is quite active at the moment and responsive. One small point on the negative: I just do not get it why adult channels require to pay a fee... |

I take back what I said as I know see that the Adult content is pay subscription only, and not one single channel of any kind would play for me! Also the addition of ads. is a worrying trend. I would not class this as freeware! |

Awesome little program, love it. "JLC" just needs to get on the ball and remove the duplicate channels and fix or remove the ones that don't work. Other then that, great. |

he's not talking about actual ads, just the box on the main screen which says it's available to advertisers. I think it's a GOOD thing, it's only there on startup and if any advertisers take it up the developer's more likely to continue to develop the app for longer. |

I didn't have any adverts at all. The program uses Windows Player and Real Player - the ads may be coming through those, check your settings. |

Changes: -The users are now in total control of the online database -Users can now rate and submit channels -Nice icons in the menus -Better looking start screen -Windows Vista UAC compatibility (hopefully) -Compatibility with portable devices (/portable) -Faster responding user interface -Column widths are now remembered -Many bug fixes Been using since it went public, the developer is quick to respond and answer problems and add new features. It may cheat by using UPX compressor, but it's just so useful. |

nice app and easy to use, thx to author! It would be nice to organize channel list like a tree (countries in root then channels, like in ChrisTV Online), but it's only my subjective opinion. About porn channels in list - the list should be keeped clear. When my children uses comptr, I dont want they view those f****ng channelz even in list with indecent descriptions. Also presence of such chnls in list may offend other normal pplz. So all onanists and perverts - f**k away, go frig in WC without inet tv...or write your own app and use it... |

Doesn't work on restricted Accounts. Please change the configfile-savepath from programdirectory into %appdata%\InternetTV or something similar. Beside that it's a nice app. |

Looks like the author found my comment and responded quickly, proxy support now ^^ Excellent, but kinda cheap considering it uses UPX compressor; but still a novel app. Betanews, beta 5d is out already, with an important update. |

Dear Author, proxy support to update the list would be a very good feat. Call me ignorant but I don't feel like signing up for his support forum to tell him this. Works very well, you can consider me a dedicated user though this program is so new. I used to keep Winamp for this, now I don't need it! Until proxy is added, 4/5. |

wow - I gave it a 5 before despite there being room for improvement as I'd wanted something for ages to simply play wwitv's links whether realmedia or windows or whatever in the same app, and it did that great - and now it keeps improving pretty regularly! If only more apps were like this, does one thing and does it well, I can't see this getting bloated and gathering silly features like a built in bittorrent client and IM! |

Works very nicely, a real pleasure. All this in 195 KB and free moreover. I was at first reluctant, for having tried before several comparable TV streamers, am no more after having tested what is even in beta stage: JLC's Internet TV is at this point fully qualified, as far as I'm concerned. |

I don't see what all this improvement talk is about. This program rates up there with shoutcast's setup. I suppose for those less technologically educated this program might seem hard to use. the program features a wonderfully functional channel side bar, which can be autohid, or set to be resizable via options. FFDshow can be setup to function with it, and you can enhance the picture. With some of these (other) tv programs you get "advertisements injection" and god knows what else. I recommend this program as your right hand, and winamp for your left. |

Basically a front end for the channel list at wwwitv.com Works OK, can update the channel list but the user interface needs a little work. For example, it's not possible to horizontally expand the channel list which is annoying as you have to scroll across to get the channel description. If you want something simple where you can get pretty much most channels in one place, you can't go wrong with this. Gets a 3 because of the UI. |
