Excellent piece of software. 1-stop shopping for most of your most trusted and needed software. Quickly and effortlessly downloads the latest versions of well trusted software utilities that many knowledgable techs use daily. If any of my techs refuse to save company time by not using this program, I will fire that knucklehead on the spot. |

Does what it says it does, as a PC Tech this tool is very helpful for spyware removal. And auto-updating the entries without having to download a new client is an awesome idea. I also have clients that i'll be recommending this tool to. Not only does it save me from telling them where to download each tool, i just have to tell them what package to download. edit: VictorAnderson so i'm supposed to hand download every tool whenever i need to update my thumb drive? I run this tool to download all the essential tools for my tech thumbdrive, and whenever i need to repair a computer i just plug in the thumbdrive and it has the latest version of all the programs i use. Simple. Effective. and Easy to use. |

I'm setting up an old Dell XP for the kids and this is a handy program as it has nearly everything on it that I use, all in one package. I particularly like the list of utilities and malware program uninstallers. It should include the a-squared free malware scanner as it is one of the most thorough since it joined forces with OnLine Armor. |

It is the easiest way for me to get the majority of the programs I use on my PC instead of getting them one at time. I can quickly download what I need for my PC. |

"1. Of course it's junk - it just downloads other crap. 2. Ok - yer a PC Tech? OMG who hired you? You can't be working for any large reptuable company because they won't allow you to use something like this. Furthermore you should have a drive a spot on your network that has such tools - or at least your IT director should supply ya with a tumbdrive or CD with tools approved by your oranization to use. Now if your just a fly-by-night teenager with no real skills or experience and simply fixing your friends machines for 10 bucks then ya go ahead and use this junk." Okay, it's confirmed, your a MORON! You haven't even used these programs have you? No, you just like to belittle others to make yo feel better about yourself. Hey, MORON, check your spelling. His company wouldn't give him a "tumbdrive". They might have given him a thumbdrive though. And, I am pretty sure his "oranization" wouldn't approve anything for him, but his organization might have. |

Sorry that you think this program is junk, someguy. Perhaps next time you can go into detail as to why you feel that way. :) Considering this was a featured Lifehacker Windows Download, along with several other popular tech websites, I'd say there's something good about it. |

Don't know why someone would say this is junk, when it is the easiest way for me to get these tools to fix machines. I am a PC tech and I fix machines every day that are easily cleaned up by the tools I can quickly download for a client. |

Might be nice to get this on a live CD for Linux-->NTFS scanning. :) |

I'm not sure I see the point... somehow I thought it would compare the versions you already have with what's available to download but it's not automated at all. It downloaded everything I asked for, but they were the same versions I already had - and in several cases older ones. Maybe worthwhile for a new Windows install, but for further use I would suggest FileHippo.com or Secunia's update checkers. 3 for doing what it says it will do. |

Sorry, I can only give it a 2 since I like the idea but only see 1 program that I use. Now if you were to come up with a similar program that allowed me to customize which software I wanted listed and download THAT would be a five! |

It requires .NET 2.0, which is one of the programs I want to eliminate from my computer. |

what kinda stupid stuff is this? An app that downloads freeware? update: classic11 - if you're a pc tech and use something like this, I suggest finding a new line of work. update2: classic11 - "so i'm supposed to hand download every tool whenever i need to update my thumb drive?" Well, as matter of fact, yes you should do that via the authors sites. Are you a pctech for indiviual people, or are you working in an enterprise situation where you're responsible for 100's or 1000's of pc's? If I caught a tech using something like this at my company I would probably fire the idiot on the spot. Plus, who's to say these tools are the right ones to use? How do you know for sure where these magicial freeware tools are coming from? Perhpas infected and being transported to unsuspecting people? You gonna do netstats and traceroutes or perhaps decrypt some packets with ethereal to make sure? gee yeah that sounds like a real timesaver. It's software like this and bozo techs who use them that end up screwing people machines up. update2: bobad - did you actally read what I said? Do you actually understand what I'm saying? What kind of lame tech are you? I think the author is staking the reviews here, no one in their right mind would use this in an enterprise enviornment and these false 'positive' reviews are obviously the work of the author. |
