Good stuff. Maybe they should just crap can the full client and go with this one full time. It's much better!

I just recently installed the Full client too to see what (if anything) had changed to make it a good client. It was junk with way too much crap.

This client is how AIM should be.

Lean mean IM machine. I gotta say I really like it. Get's out of the way and does everything I need it to do. I don't need video or audio or emoticons. I just need it to get down to business.

Pretty nice interface. Where are my options though? I think if they're going to make it not the Windows Default skin, they should offer skins or no-skin.
AIMLite (http://fileforum.betanew...il/AIMLite/1108585829/1) is still better since that's just a hacked version of AIM 6.

I don't see what the fuss is all about; MiniAIM has all the features this does, and more; it's several times smaller.

This is still bloated and skinned, they say it's aimed more for advanced users who like no-B.S. get-the-job-done software, and miniaim does it better.

This is actually very nice. Very Google Talk'ish. If I hadn't already decided to ditch all my different IM accounts for a single Google Talk, I would definitely be using this. Installs fast and clean, no ads, very light.

I absolutely love this program. Feels just as fast, and light as miniaim, but with a sexy interface, and just the very basic features. NO ADS! I love it.

Nice - finally a slim AIM client from AOL. It is definitely no frills as the descn says, I like it. No ads, memory usage is pretty slim.
