Had problem first time I tried it but it went away ... now testing and will post updated review ... initial testing seems okay so far.

Awesome combination of imaging and snapshot technology giving the best of both worlds. I can't see myself ever going back to RollbackRx now I have Ax64 and Macrium will be removed from my PC in time too.

    Reviewing 1.1.996 (May 10, 2013)

It does screw with your OS... you can not run chkdsk after you install this....
but the backups are fast I give it a 3 or 4 star

  4. 5 out of 5 stars

    Reviewing 1.1.996 (May 9, 2013)

An extremely promising up and coming imaging/snapshot solution. The closest thing one can compare to this is the "Non Stop Backup" feature of Acronis True Image, but with a much faster process. And not just faster for backup, but really fast for recovery too. The product developer is a great listener to feedback. If you ever wish there was a product that could quickly and easily undo those "oops" moments, this is it. I abandoned Rollback Rx for this. Unlike RBX, it doesn't screw up with your disk.

  5. 5 out of 5 stars

The Best! Best at Imaging. Best at Snapshot Technology.

It has both of the worlds, imaging and snapshot technology.

I see your point, thank you. For Texas - yes, the domain is managed by Hostgator, that is apparently based there, so it's normal.
For address in the "fax" field - that seems to be Hostgator issue, because I just double-checked the registration information and all fields are filled out correctly. Not a big deal though.

Sorry, I still can't understand - what kind of information do you wish to see on the website? User reviews?

You're right, I shouldn't have posted a negative review without testing the program out first. Sorry about that.

I always check out the company before trying out new software - WHOIS lists Admin/Tech support names are in Texas (I guess Hostgator manages your website), your phone number isn't included in the Registrant Contact info, and the Fax info listed an address instead of a phone number...

Now that others have posted info about the history of this program and background of your company, I'll be glad to try it. My main question remains, though - why isn't any of this information on the product page?

Hi, I'm one of the developers of AX64 Time Machine and I'm ready to answer your questions.
I don't quite understand why GreggD left a negative review without even trying the program, just because he found "other contacts are in Texas" while nothing related to Texas is on the web site. Our company is in San Francisco, the local address and phone are posted on the website.

Anyway, this program had been in beta stage for a while and you can find a lot of information and feedback here:
