Flash video on youtube consumes too much CPU resources, other than that it's quite usable.

Flash in the low part of the front page on NVIDIA.com is rendered with terrible glitches.

Till the Flash player gives end users controls to fast forward and reverse through EVERY clip, at the very least, this ad-shoveling platform represents the antithesis of the personal computing spirit.

I run Xandros, which is Debian-based. Trying to get this functioning killed about half of my few remaining brain cells. On Windows, it's a simple download and install with GetRight. Linux is such a magnificent OS.

For those using Debian Sid, Flash 9 is now in the repositories (apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree).

Some Flash9 sites work.

Many still have to be worked on, such as Brandon Peterson's Gero site by Gabocorp -

http://www.brandonpeterson.com/site/main.asp

It's Flash9 intensive and looks great, but sadly works with Windows and Mac only still. Does anybody else have this problem?

I'm using Ubuntu Edgy RC and Opera 9.02
