My one and only tool to transformat data between apps which ex- and imports csv-files especially calc (OO), excel.

Used this program to help a customer migrate from Lotus Organizer 2.1 to M$ Outlook. The Lotus export was "rough" at best. Downloaded this tool, unzipped it (no install required) and started playing with the exported files. Was able to pretty easily manipulate them to facilitate a smooth import into Outlook. The editing options look deceptively simple, but are very powerful. The interface takes a little exploring to figure out. Has a multi-step undo feature. Can save output in many formats.

Good at what it does, BUT does not identify redundant columns/rows based on their headers prior to merging/appending files.
I would like to see more work into it, so I'll give it a 4 to indicate that, while encouraging the author :)

OK Point One:
This program says it edits csv extension files and guess what, it does and extremely fast too. I use this to edit my csv files if I only need quick changes otherwise I load up MS Excel or Open Office Calc, but this program could handle atleast from what I have seen any csv file editing needed. So I give it a high 4.
