Camfrog Video Chat has real video chat rooms where you can see and hear many users on webcam at a time. It also has a live directory of users with photos, a live video chat room directory, instant messaging, a contact list, and an extremely easy to use UI. No webcam is required to hear or see people, but it is recommended.

PROS:
I've used almost every video chat application over the past few years and Camfrog is definitely one of the better ones. The interface is clean and well thought out, and the server software is equally easy to use, being able to handle hundreds of simultaneous video chatters. Chat rooms are moderated using a tiered management-style permissions system, which goes a long way to helping make sure the chat rooms can be moderated 24/7. Video and Audio quality is also very good.
CONS:
Privacy-wise, Camfrog tracks all of your link-clicks in the chat rooms, and redirects them to Camfrog. Camfrog also packages 'bundleware' with the main application, and you end up installing it by accident unless you're eagle-eyed! You could hardly call Camfrog Spyware, but they do need to consider privacy a bit better.

After using it for a while I mentioned that the chatters where not really intrested in you and arrogant and lot of perfert behavour, allways crowdy. There was also a silly answering and question game. It could not satisfed me allthough, if you like chatting all day long and waste you time, go ahead!

I've tried pretty much all the windows-based video chat programs that exist. (well over 30 of them now).
Reasons why this one is good? Video and sound quality for one. Out of all of them this one seems to have the best performance. The other thing that this one has that many of them do not have is the ability to be in a video chat with more than one person at a time. Unfornuatly, to enable this feature and a few of the other ones you have to upgrade to the 'pro' version - which is about $50. Thus far I haven't spent the $50 - so I don't know if this only works while in a chatroom - or if you can be in 2 video chats with people on your contact list. The other thing is resizing of the video windows. Suprisingy this and changing your online status is a 'pro' feature...and you can't resize the window to anysize you want - there are like 4 or 5 preset sizes you have to select from. (Perhaps the author should consider a different control for this). It would also be nice if there were some more options for the contact-list window ... there are some buttons and such that would be nice to hide, and it would be cool if you could actually make that window smaller than it currenlty allows.
The closest thing I can compare it to right now is eyeball chat (www.eyeballchat.com) - which is 100% free and already has the pro features that this charges $ for (and a few others) - except for the ability to have more than one video chat going at a time....but again - the video and sound quality and resource usage is much better with camfrog.
I guess you see why I rate it a 4 and not a 5. If I could I've give it a 4.5 (4 and 1/2).
Hopefully the author of the software will read this and maybe add some of these suggestions into the final version.

I have been looking for a good web cam program so I can finally use my webcam. This program is just awsome. Lots of video sex and good times! I still can't stop laughing.

Well Patience paid off. I was unable to use the previous beta at all. The video quality is awesome though the room list showed up one and poof* error no page to be displayed. Joining another room was impossible without the links and I assume everyone else was stuck within their own server rooms and like myself...alone... I like the idea of seperating adult servers from general use servers. Navigating the site made me stumble but within 10 min I was comfortable.I wish however I could access my webc am settings within the app as most other webcam chat apps do
Well I'll just kick back till someone interesting stumbles in mt room.
