I have no ax to grind. But I'm curious, why this over WinSCP given the malware issue and the fact that the program did not have the option to encrypt passwords until last May?

If you're afraid of malware in the installer just download the portable zip-file from the project homepage.

Very, VERY fast transfer. Never a Problem.
Neat layout. Very fast "Search" thru Remote files. Great. 5*

17 may [edit] .. I ONLY use this app for transfer of files from PC to a
dual boot multi-satellite system. I wouldn't use it (PC to PC).
Filezilla is a (clean App) for the "false positive" guys .. [edit] ... ~_^

AVG reports that the file contains a trojan and deleted it from my download area, I thought the files on betanews had been scanned for this type of junk..am I wrong in that??

Excellent FTP client, and as far as I know it's totally clean and free (it's under GPL licence). Regards to the author for spend his time in the development of this app, I think that's is all the opposite to arrogance.
