Publisher's Description

Gammu+ is an open source/commercial tool for developers and users, which help in exploring cellular phones functionalities over bluetooth, infrared or cable. Currently supports for example various Nokia devices. Depending on phone model it can support for example phonebook, sms, mms, calendar, todo, notes, filesystem (make backup/restore using file or PostgreSQL database, send sms, read mms, read/save phone filesystem, upload Java application and more).

osric, please contact Marcin Wiacek (developer) for help. What exactly cable are you using ? Genuine Nokia ? 3rd party ? Do you have keypad unlocked, when try to connect ? DO you have set 115200 speed for com3: ?

Sounds like a good Nokia PC suite killer. I can't get it to work though. Here's my config:
[gammu]

port = com3:
connection = fbus

And this is the output:

Tried and this works. Does things one typically needs to do with the phone. Easy to use.
Excellent light app. compared to Nokia corporate bloatware garbage.

Interesting program but failed to get it working. My anchient "smartphone" Nokia 6600 wasnt avaitable in the predefined settings for some reason. :(
