GermaniXPlayer (formerly bPlayer) is a media player for MP3, MP2, WMA, VOX, OGG, WAV, and other audio formats. It uses standard playlists and an SQL format for better performance on big lists. You can edit ID3 tags in v1 and v2, use a 12 band equalizer and a lot of visual effects.

bPlayer don't work properly with me.
If I liked to add a song into the Trackliste, it remains empty. Therefore I can not play songs ..... Very too bad

Nice proggie. The software more stable then older builds.
Yes - 6,2 MB is not small - but is size a major point of software quality (you talk only 3 or 5 or 6 ... not over cd volume sizes).

It is more than 6 meg!!!
It has grown from 5 to 6,2 in less than a month.
Even Winamp 3 is smaller!

I haven't downloaded it yet, but from the screenshot it shows what looks like a decent spectrograph which is a very cool feature.

Yes - it is not small. 6 Megs not small for a player. On my machine the player starts in 1 sec. Nice function and GUI - but habe a lot of bugs. I hope, the bugs are killed in one of the next releases.

1st: It isn't small!!! 6 MB!!!
bplayer is slow... this program is load 5 sec.!!!
And there are errors... I saw better music players. Maybe next version will be faster.

I agree that at close to 5 meg, this is hardly a small player. Also, it was difficult to figure out how to add songs to the thing. It has 2 add buttons, one for the playlist, and one for adding songs. Had to hunt n' peck, in order to figure it out. Plays ok. Not much for equalization howerver. Visualization was ok, but nothing fancy. I'll settle for WinAmp, or Quintessential Player.

I have not tested it, but it is not small.
IMHO a 4 mb download is not small, CoolPlayer is only 300K. Even Winamp 2.x is smaller!

Nice little player. Fast and simple - no big overhaed as the most player. A good program for playing mp3 - not more. Works fine.
