@ DIRKES below. You could always read the included help manual. Its clearly laid out and concise. If you are unable understand its contents then you should probably not be let near any live electrical equipment let alone a net-connected computer.
Unfortunately your Free Download Manager does not even come close to the functionality of getright. :(

Finally, a version that deserves a 4.
At first use, you'll notice a few visual improvements, like the new layout and a download-completed popup-tooltip. As you keep using it you'll wonder where all the crashes and bugs you've been so accustomed to went. Of course, they've been fixed, and it shows. The most significant fix/addon is ofcourse, that the BitTorrent implementation *finally* can be termed as "useful". Yes, I'm talking about the much needed DHT/Kad implementation along with a lot of BT bug fixes. This should push the utility-value of Metalinks, especially when downloading large images of *nix distros.
On the flip side, the BitTorrent implementation still needs a lot of polishing. It can fail to achieve good speeds on files that work perfectly well in a regular torrent client.
Then there's the controversial oft-requested feature: more than 4 segments on a single mirror. The problem is, while users might tend to abuse it on regular servers, there are servers that deliberately limit the speed per connection. But I think its for the user to make that choice and not the author. There should should be an option to to raise the segment-cap on limiting servers.
Overall, the new flavour of Getright is that of a nice old wine. Not yet vintage, but it's getting there.

Quote: "star downloader , winget and free download manager ... all free and the same. " Definaetely not! Star Downloader and FDM are cack in comparison, I haven't tried WinGet.
Getright always been the best, have you tried parsing a webpage in FDM, it's like trying to squeeze blood out of a stone.

By far THE BEST Download Manager. Also supports BitTorrent now, so no need for a separate BT client.

I have used GR since a few years and I love ii. I really liked upload feature but I have to use TLS encryption and it is completly useless for me now... Do you know any program which has got similar functionality and TLS support?

Yeah yeah yeah, Postcasting, RSS support and all that. Great. But does it do secure FTP? ssh?
Does the synchronization do deltas or is it a simple date/time comparison and then copying the entire file?

All those who are reviewing Getright PRO: please do a feature comparision of Getright Pro and ALL other download managers. Particularly, go through the 'Whats New' and how Pro is different from plain Getright.
'Free Download Manager' or any other download managers don't even have HALF the features that even plain Getright has, leave alone Pro. So naturally, if you don't want any of the advanced features that Getright/Pro offer, then don't use it. Just don't say that other download managers do the same. You are making fools of yourselves by saying that. In fact you can't even compare Getright Pro with others, cause Getright is no longer just a download manager- its a download AND upload manager. Beat that.
Agreed that currently there ARE a lot of bugs and crashes- but this is a BETA VERSION! Beta versions are meant for Beta testers- people who know and agree that the product (may) contains bugs AND will inform the author about so that the bugs are removed from future versions. So if you don't beta test this product and take the above into consideration, you don't deserve to do reviews either.
---
As for this version of Pro, quite a few of those bugs have been fixed but there still are some occasions when Getright crashes. And its not just crashes, there are also bugs, particularly with the scheduled downloading, etc. (Casual users beware- do take note of these before using it)
But the new RSS/XML support and the Podcasting features are great!

I can believe that this software is still so buggy, even after so many versions. It keeps crashing and crashing on my two computes. Stay away from this and try Free download manager which is stable and efficient.
