For some reason up until the last 2 updates the lyrics lookup was working fine. Now with this latest update when I try to obtain the lyrics to a song the software simply gives me a failure message....Very sad because I really liked this function...

Again the name of this product needs to be changed. Its not 1991 and the group Nirvana is all over the music charts. Be a little bit moore serious with your product.

I have been using this for a while, and I have to say it is really a great program, in spite of the dumb name.

I can't even begin to talk about all the features, but most and foremost it is the best "organizer" of a collection of mp3 files I have found. I finally got my collection all cleaned up and now use this as my primary player for music.

I know nothing about this program so I will not be rating it. I just wanted to comment on the name and think the developer couldnt or should come up with a better name then "Teen Spirit". I think the name is very childish if you know what I mean. Thanks

All you liking this prog should take a look at 'Deli Player v.2.50' except for the worse equalizer that is an amazing audioplayer! And offcourse Billy MP3 and 1by1, but they only support mp3...

I cannot agree with those who dislike the pruducte simply because of its colour. There is a large veriety of skins and colours that are diminishing any dislikeness of the default display - just go to options/skins - stop whining. Teen Spirit is Oday

I agree with some of the comments left thus far.

The color scheme is terrible. But I did find out how to change the color scheme to whatever you want so that's a good thing. I also find the name of the software ODD!!!! since I am scaring the daylights out of 60 years of age

That being said I like to say that after trying almost every other program like this out there I find this one to do a very excellent job in looking up the album art work and information on the artists. Out of my MP3 collection of over 1,000 tracks (which dates back mostly to the 60's & 70's) it provided 97% of the art work and artist info. The remaining 3% I looked up manually doing a google search and then used the import function to insert the art.

Case in point, it successfully found the album art & band information for the 60's rock band Vanilla Fudge & Paul Revere & the Raiders. No other software I have tried could do that.

I very much like the idea of being able to add this information manually if the automatic function fails.

Just my humble opinion!!!

Nice: while being in developement, (as MOST programs are) it still works well.
I likes it: likes it a lot. :)

the screenshot is deceptive. it looks reasonable there, but in reality it's all black backgrounds and orange text. truly awful.

Beyond that, I can't really see what this does over any other player - in fact what it does do, it seems to do worse.

can't find an easy way to select everything in my list and play all.

Can't easily find album art (maybe you can, but I couldn't find out how to do that other than following the link to google images)

sounds quality... well its'... it's ok... nothing awful, but nothing special either.

windows media player does all this and more and better
QMP, does all this too
as does Mediacube, mediamonkey.

indeed, as does pretty much every media player with media library function installed.

on the plus side: small download, and quick start up.
