I had high hopes for this editor but it simply didn't pass the very first test. I needed to edit a large file, a MP4 movie converted to MP3 to extract several songs to be played on my phone. Macsome Audio Editor converted for several minutes and displayed nothing on the screen. The HH:MM:SS scale displayed negative numbers. A check of the manual and FAQ revealed no size limitations and I had 8 GB of ram on my Mac so memory shouldn't have been an issue. The verdict, this app is not particularly robust.
