MS needs to get out of the games! They **** up everything they touch and they have done NOTHING helpful or good for the gaming community! Hell look at the crap they have for the retarded xbox 360!

Gamers know what Live is. It lets you talk and chat while multiplayer gaming. It's a cool product. That of course gamers find usefull, like me.

"Games for Windows is a gaming platform and marketing campaign by Microsoft that dates back at least to 2005, and was revised in 2006. Games for the platform must meet certification standards similar to those of modern popular video game consoles. The campaign aims to make video gaming on Windows operating systems as easy and accessible as on popular video game consoles.

The campaign has been promoted through convention kiosks and through other forums as early as 2005.[1]"

Seems the morons as M$ can't even write a proper description to what could be something useful.

    "What is it?"
    "It's green!"

    This explains it, somewhat:

It's essentially drivers to allow you to access Windows LIVE games. (At least that's how I understand it.) I don't have any of the LIVE games so I can't test it.
