1uk3, thanks for the link.

hd-dvd is what I'm using for my movies. im a filmmaker and it wont be such an issue for consumers as people think. just pick up a dual player which i'm sure most of them will be. people like me will have to choose one or the other but that doesnt really affect you as a consumer. so relax about it :)

Dvd sux, what have u been smoking. Guess you were too young to remember video disc of the early 80's. They really stunk the joint up. And were big as an album. Today's dvd's are fine. And of course Microsoft is going to side with Hd Dvd. They chose this format a year ago over blue ray. I've seen both at the local Best Buy. No difference from what i see. Its going to be a hard sell to get the public to buy into either of these new disc. types. Plus who knows, there might be an even better disc. tech. down the road.
