When running PC Checkup, AVG picked up this virus from this program: Trojan horse Clicker.KNL

It offered fixes that didn't apply to my system (KB929762 for example).

I do like the interface of the program, and in theory seems like a decent program for beginners. But it needs some serious work and eliminating of any (ahem!) trojans in there.

However for every other user, a combination of CCleaner and XdN Tweaker (or Glary Utilities, or whatever you prefer) would be much safer and more powerful than this.

Didn't detect NOD32 or Comodo's firewall - they're not Norton or McAfee but are far from obscure... It offered to "fix" things that definitely didn't need "fixed" - settings that are more personal preferences than anything and would not have improved performance either way. It seems very limited in scope and not incredibly helpful but doesn't seem harmful either. Maybe I'll check back later but for now I don't see it being useful even for beginners.

Worked fine here. It installed a new service but you have the option to disable it (scheduled check). With this system they can recommend settings and fix severeal known problems. But for this to happen, they must update that "checkup list" regularly and do not try to be invasive. For now, i think it deserver a 5.

Because, this is a Beta program, the jury is still out. After, I ran the scan, it advised me that I was running 2 Firewall's. ???? This is a Microsoft Program, in sheeps clothing. The Company, that wrote this, is owened by Microsoft. This program, has the feeling of a small Windows One Care. I will keep it to see, how far they are willing to build this. It didnt hurt anything, so I will see, where this program, goes from here.
