Publisher's Description

QuickSFV is a tool to quickly verify .SFV files. It integrates into the Windows Explorer shell and makes it very easy to verify files. Just double-click on the .SFV file and it does the rest. It also understands several other file verification formats including .CRC and .CKZ.

Thanks for pointing out FileVerifier++. However something like QuickSFV is better for checking, and simple SFV creation, purposes only. Its simple and clean, however i still like HkSFV for some reason. Though its not been updated for a long time, shame really.

FileVerifier++ seems to be better for creating all sorts of checksums. Previously ive been using the FSUM with the third party frontend, but its not very flexible. FV++ is much better alternative.

Thanks again. :)

Great app, absolutely essential for all the OCDs that need to verify the integrity of their files.

Simple program. Does exactly what it says.
And now a x64 version! :-)

Positive Aspects: Creating .SFV files is very easy and fast due to the excellent shell integration and excellent speed when reading from network drives.

Negative Aspects: When checking files for errors an ugly dialog with no progress bar or any other indication that the program is still working is used. Very bad.

Conclusion: I would recommend this program for creating SFV files. For checking files against an already existing SFV file, look somewhere else. QuickPAR might be a nice alternative for this task with an excellent progress bar and even a "time remaining estimate".

Good, but it only checks SFV files, and does not create them. Get SFV Checker for that important task.

I have found this to be the best SFV app so far...
I have tested several others, and love the shell intergration of this one, ease of use, etc.
only problem is that it isn't skinable, and I had to add it to the aplication exclusions in windowblinds to keep it (quickSFV) from crashing.
It has a new homepage, quicksfv.org. Ths link above is no longer valid...

Excellent program, very fast, and easy to use. I love the new look to it too :)
A must if you're into warez, albums, make your own releases, or just want to make an sfv for miscellaneous files.

I think I still overrate tho!
