3rd party plugins really makes it rock. One can block out the porn if they want. Best program of its kind.

Avoid this program! First of all, it's NOT freeware it's ADWARE. From the license agreement:

"Readon TV Movie Radio Player will from time to time display third party advertisements using an embedded web browser based on Microsoft Internet Explorer ActiveX to support this software. Some of these advertisers may use technology such as cookies and web beacons when they advertise on our Readon TV Movie Radio Player, which will also send these advertisers information including your IP address, your ISP, the browser you used to visit our site, and in some cases, whether you have Flash installed. This is generally used for geotargeting purposes (showing New York ads to someone in New York, for example) or showing certain ads based on specific sites visited (such as showing cooking ads to someone who frequents cooking sites)."

Second of all, this program can show inappropriate filth. This is also from the license agreement:

"Readon TV Movie Radio Player contains materials of sexually explicit nature. If you are not of legal age or if it is illegal for you to view such material, you must uninstall and remove Readon TV Movie Radio Player files along with the setup package from your storage devices and cease to use the product.

By using Readon TV Movie Radio Player you are choosing to be exposed to material of adult and explicit nature. Readon Technology will not be held liable for your choice to move forward."

Everyone, please avoid junk like this. Betanews, please remove this program from your listings, because it clearly states that it has "material of adult and explicit nature". Please remove this filth from your website, there are better things for us to spend our time with.

Prefer to use JLC Internet TV for long time, but this app is not bad it all, GUI needs to be improved, channel list not too big, like in JLC, but I like ability to watch movies.

(This is more of a question than a review, so I'm gining it a star rating reflecting current concensus pending further testing.)

Looking at their "Download" tab (product website) I notice that the only other offering is a "surveillance" program. I have to say, I immediatelly felt a red flag warning... This was partly triggered by the recall of how much mail spam offering internet TV of some sort are commonly found in my junk mail folder.

I would like to know if anyone has done any type of security audit on this software. I would be interested in trying it, but I just want some reassurance. I admit, paranoia is an important part of my computer MO - and that's ok.

Video quality is not a problem of this player, but some of the sources. The interface is very good and it carries a lot of content for free that you pay for with other programs. Highly recommend.

A new kid on the block! I used to search many websites on the internet for the news channels and new movies that i wanted to watch. It was time consuming and frustrating to say the least. With readon tv movie radio player, i can easily find the news and movies i needed jus on one platform. It is easy to use and free too, unlike some disgusting website trying to sell a membership for freely available channels.

Works well for me. I wasn't surprised at the low quality of some video streams because of my experience with FreeeTV.com, a site that has tons of links to online tv streams, like this program has. I like this program better than that site, by the way.

One of the best "unknown" players around. ;)

Not only does it play what other Internet TV and radio players do, but it also includes "Movies on Demand" (full movies hosted on streaming sites - though not very many of them) and all the porn channels for free (unlike other b#llsh!t players which charge you for them even though they don't own or maintain them).

The version 3.4.0.4 beta is pretty buggy though. If it crashes, get 3.0.0.1 from the product download site instead:

@gawd21: Video quality is based on the source, not the player. It isn't the player's fault if the host is crappy or the encoding was done badly. All Internet TV player video quality looks the same. Makes no sense to rate the product low for something it doesn't control.

EDIT: @gawd21: Unless you care to actually name any specific player and a channel which appears with different quality in that player versus this one (or any other), I call BS on your claim. I've tried every ITV player out there and none look any better or worse. Some others just charge for what this one provides for free.

Great idea, but the video quality on the movies is so low that you just can't watch them. I have seen much better from other programs.

EDIT: Not so; I have seen much better on all of the other programs that I have used. Large squares in the video, is not common on other players.
