River Past Video Cleaner will convert video to AVI to use with your favorite video editing/authoring software or to WMV to stream over the Internet. Convert video from AVI, WMV, MPEG-1, MPEG-4, DIVX to AVI or WMV. You can choose your video and/or audio codecs, video size, frame rate, audio sample rate, channel, and/or bitrate. Clean up timecode in those bad video which causes crashes or AV sync problems in other software.

For basic, everyday video conversion and light editing, River Past Video Cleaner is both powerful and flexible. For broader features, River Past sells "booster packs" that expand the program (such as converting to .mov format, for example) if needed. For the price, this is an excellent value, and converted a group of 149 videos — totaling 3.66G — in one session for me without a single error.
