Publisher's Description

Safe Machine is a free to use, extremely secure Online Data Storage solution that gives you the freedom to save your files on your preferred location on the cloud (your FTP server, your Web Folder, Amazon servers, etc...). Unlike other online storage solutions, your computer encrypts and decrypts locally your files using military-grade algorithms. You are the only one who can decrypt the files, making Safe Machine one of the most secure, commercially available, data storage solution.

The software works perfectly and it's completely free! I don't know how the guys before me read the instructions for use 'cuz it's completely different from what they point. The prices they cite are ONLY if you choose to store your encrypted files on the Safe Machine Storage which is a totally different service than the software itself. They are two separate things:
1) FREE software that allows you to securely upload your encrypted files on any given internal or external hards drive, USB stick, FTP, SFTP, online storage OR, optionally, using Safe Machine Storage
2) the paid service of storing your files on Safe Machine's platform which is based on Amazon's infrastructure but with a more user-friendly front end, and which is, by the way, a lot more cheaper than other online storage providers!

So, guys, please read carefully before writing wrong reviews on something you have not even tested or understood!

A program without utility is less useful than the dirt on the bottom of your shoes. To get any use out of this you have to pay 25 cents per gigabyte of storage, a setup fee, and a monthly fee so not "freeware". Won't even waste my bandwidth downloading this when there is other better software available.
