Bottom Line: There are free alternatives like OpenShell (previously ClassicShell) which is now available with full source code so you can customize (or fk it up) it yourself. Leaving 3 stars because it functions as advertised. I won't give it 5 stars because it does not give you anything beyond the free alternatives.

I've used this since it's been out.
ClassicShell is ok, but is somewhat buggy and on occasion, won't initialize.
Never had that with StartIsBack
Plus, how cheap are you? This was like $3 for, let's see, forever!

Great program and Very reasonably priced. I am using it on 4 computers, and it's one of the first things I install.

Although I do like the WIN 10 start menu, I use this when I need to get something done

Norton 360 says newest release 1.2 contains a virus:

I have installed it on over 100 computers
it has NEVER crashed .... not once....

I like classic shell but classic shell crashed many many times

This is definitely the best of the start menu programs plus it costs $2 bucks

It's crap to be honest. Kept crashing and has far less options than the free Classic Shell. Developer should learn how to create a high quality menu like Classic Shell.

This is a great program and very reasonably priced. Well worth it!!!
It doesn't necessarily have to replace the Windows 10 Start menu. I use it as a secondary start menu, when I want to get work done, or just feeling nostalgic. This is definitely the best of the start menu programs

This is the best program of its kind. Win 10 may be getting a lot of hype, but the start menu is a pain in the ass, and it doesn't work the way you would expect it to. It's not the solution many people need or are familiar with. StartIsBack gives you that familiar Start Menu interface, with all the flexibility that entails, including the ability to "open" and "explore" the menu for all users or current user, which means you can easily customize folders, something that's a nightmare to even try in the default Windows 10 start menu. It's a lean, clean, space efficient replacement and at $2.99, it's a steal. Very highly recommended.

This is by far the best Start menu for Windows 10 including the RTM also works flawless with 8 and 8.1.... Thank you blows away classic shell...

On a side note if you're Windows 10 Start Menu has failed this will not only replace it but will be more stable then Microsofts on hack...

Tried the beta version and this works well and feels like previous versions of windows. This is going to help people adapt to win 10. It should have been the way win 10 was set up from the start.
