I'm sticking with version 12. Had allot of problems with the newer versions. Probably something to do with my video card.

Great program. My previous astronomy software isn't compatible with Windows 7, not to mention this is actually much better. Lots of details for the night sky watcher.

I have both Stellarium and Starry Night Pro. Stellarium is better than Starry Night Pro in many ways and it's free. The nice thing about Stellarium is that it works with Linux too. I have a net book with Stellarium installed in Ubuntu that I like to take out into the field with me. The night vision screen comes in very handy as well making it easier to see deep sky objects. Stellarium rocks.

Nice program for star gazers! I like the ability to change locations and to choose what I want displayed.

Great program for being 0.10. Very educational for kids and adults alike. Program functions as advertised. Star database with 600,000 stars included but can be expanded to 210 million stars (see website). Keep up the great work!

Qlib

Qlib reviewed v0.9.1 on Jan 17, 2008

its visually nice but not a very useful program with its limited number of stars supported and star databases and such but.. sure.. fun.. and neat for kids.. i just hope it evolves to something SO much more..

One of my favorite fun programs.
Visually incredible and great for my kids too.
It has opened up galaxies I never knew existed and at no charge.
Hard to beat!

tommyb709 reviewed v0.9.1 on Jan 17, 2008

The program itself is great. However, I locked it up every time I tried to set the location from the configuration panel. Fortunately, it is easy to edit the ini file, and avoid this problem.

When this is fixed, I would give 5 stars.

I would particularly like documentation on making my own landscape photos.

Stunning.

Download this incredible program and impress the ladies with your vast knowledge of the planets, stars, and if you really want be a stud, the constellations. Chicks dig it. ;)

Too good! Helps me know what our friends Moon, Polaris etc are doing while we are enjoying daylight :)

Also interesting when you set some different location, for example Moon, to see how the earth might look at that time from the moon.

KIU!

Simply *the best* computer planetarium software in the world!
I've tested 10 different platariums (including KStars and Celestia) and Stellarium is clearly the best - fastest, great looking, configurable.

Well done!
