Publisher's Description

VSOS is an online information management companion that integrates with your email, web browser and email address book. The SOS stands for "save, organize and share," and that's what VSOS enables you to do as you come across products, businesses, people, web content, emails or notes on products you might want to buy, topics you have an interest in cultivating, or travel/going out related activities you want to plan. It was built after concluding that there's an unmet need for a better way to manage and share information of interest that's found on the Internet, especially in a manner that is complimentary to the way people currently browse, email and search online.

I've given a neutral rating as this is a product that is of no use to me because I don't use IE. In the description it needs to be claer that this software will only work with IE and Outlook thus it is of no use to those who prefer other products.

I thought this would've been perfect for my research team but it's a pretty poor implementation in my opinion. We would've prefered a side-pane in IE rather than a toolbar that eats in the main window (doesn't look good sitting under the google toolbar either). I think that'll put a lot of people off. Have a look at the Office 2003 research bar - much nicer.

Functionality was good but there's too much corporate "bumpf" around it. Would expect a sales person to approach our company with this in a targeted way, not download it from the web - definitely not geared towards a general public model. The result is a relatively steep learning curve for the average user.
