Publisher's Description

Webopi is a way to add and read reviews of any website: An item in an online shop, CNN's article, hosting company offer... and it doesn't matter whether a possibility of leaving a review is or is not given by the owners of those websites.

This is Webopi working as a Firefox extension.

Fatray-- blame Firefox, not independent software. Go complain to FF why it's in eternal beta status(nothing wrong with extended development actually... as long as it doesn't break third party compatibility excessively).

A beta is an opportunity for extension developers to make their extensions compatible with the next version of Firefox (among other things). Some extensions devs have been doing this... FlashGot, Greasemonkey, NoScript, ScribeFire, Stylish, Tab Mix Plus... all of these are popular extensions which now work with Beta 3. There will be differences between Beta 3 and the final but less so than the differences between 2.0 and 3.0. Means less rushing for devs which take advantage of the beta.

Some extensions will work fine with 3.0 without modification, however you should only use them at your own risk as they could make the browser more unstable, if they even work at all. That said, many work fine.

To allow this, go to about:config in the browser and set extensions.checkCompatibility to false and extensions.checkUpdateSecurity to false. If you cannot find one or either of those entries, make a new boolean value with the name and set it yourself.

Rating 4 since I can't post a comment without a rating... and I don't think I need this extension. But it definitely should be helpful and useful to plenty of people if it works as advertised. Only problem could be that sidebars tend to take out a big chunk of browsing real estate.
