Publisher's Description
WhatInStartup displays the list of all applications that are loaded automatically when Windows starts up. For each application, the following information is displayed: Startup Type (Registry/Startup Folder), Command-Line String, Product Name, File Version, Company Name, Location in the Registry or file system, and more. It allows you to easily disable or delete unwanted programs that runs in your Windows startup.

Under Windows 7-64 bit, this program seems to need administrator-level privileges. Then it seems to show the startup items for the administrator account, not the user account that initiated the program.

Compared to what Winpatrol/Scotty shows this one
misses items in delayload, notify and task scheduler,
and as I'd expect Doesn't show items I've told Scotty
to start up after a few minutes.

This is one brilliant program, before you comment install it & see. A must have on any PC I maintain.

This looks much like MSConfig. How does it differ?? It works but don't see the advantage over MSCnfig??

All the capability of StartEd Free and most of Chameleon Startup Free edition, in a free, fast, no nonsense GUI; 46kb Executable. Brilliant!
