  1. Review - The GIMP

    2.8.22 (May 13, 2017)

Krita is a digital painting application, Gimp is a generic image editor. Both programs have entirely different uses. I'd never use Krita to do any sort of basic picture manipulation.

  2. Review - Directory Opus

    12.3 (Dec 25, 2016)

By far Opus is still my favourite file manager and desktop replacer, yet it has been stagnating for a few years now. The latest version 12 doesn't add anything meaningful to this software, apart from a more intuitive search engine which is largely dispensable if you're used to other (and better) solutions like Locate32.

  3. Review - GWX Stopper

    3.1.0.113 (Jul 16, 2016)

GWX Monitor is a much better solution.

  4. Review - Sony PS4 Remote Play for Windows

    1.0.0.15181 (Apr 10, 2016)

No reason why it shouldn't be compatible with W7, except it's Sony so reason flies out the window.

  5. Review - Mozilla Firefox (64-bit Beta)

    37.0 Beta 5 (Mar 14, 2015)

It feels more sluggish than the 32-bit build on Win7-64. Not mature enough.

  6. Comment - We want your Windows XP memories

    37.0 Beta 5 (Jul 12, 2011 - 4:00 PM)

If that piece of crap callled Soluto hadn't bricked my system on November 2010, I would probably still using XP today.

I had only bad experiences with Vista at the time, but to my shocking surprise Seven proved to be the best Windows experience I ever had since 2000.

  7. Comment - Happy day! Playstation Network is back up -- well, almost

    37.0 Beta 5 (May 15, 2011 - 10:40 AM)

Not even mentioning that PS.Blog EU is completely AWOL.

  8. Comment - Happy day! Playstation Network is back up -- well, almost

    37.0 Beta 5 (May 15, 2011 - 10:37 AM)

Nice try Sony, but obviously it still doesn't work in Europe. Even after updating the firmware, PSN remains unavailable and no password change prompt is displayed. I haven't been notified by email either.

I can't wait to connect so that I can erase my CC data for good.

  9. Comment - Turn your normal desk into a standing workspace in 3 steps

    37.0 Beta 5 (May 14, 2011 - 5:19 AM)

This is Dilbert stuff of epic proportions.
