  1. Review - Yahoo! Messenger for Windows (Mar 31, 2010)

I'm glad to see Yahoo trying to take steps to fix it's (to some degree) it's messenger program. Unfortunately lack of foresight has resulting in things like captcha's now required to enter a chat room basically eliminating sight impaired users who used voice: That's exactly the point - there's no custom install option.

  4. Comment - It's not flat if you tilt it 45 degrees: IE usage share in EU remains steady (Mar 31, 2010 - 8:45 AM)

You are on to something. Most casual observers of this data will assume the population size is the same during the week and weekend. When in fact, that is not possible to determine based on the data provided here. You could easily be correct stating that the weekend population drops by a large margin. Good observation!

  5. Comment - Of course media bias favors Apple (Mar 31, 2010 - 8:42 AM)

Tell my why my friend's macbook pro doesn't work if Apple is so flawless. How come the girl in the aisle next to me can't get her ipod to turn on?

  6. Comment - Enough with the Apple bashing! (Mar 31, 2010 - 8:42 AM)

Success is a great thing and I do not think that anybody should begrudge the fact that Apple made some good choices and created products with decent appeal in the market. Personally, I do not plan to buy any Apple products because of the manner by which this company tries to achieve success - trapping users in a restrictive ecosystem- but this is me. What I have problems with is mostly with the technical press that writes fluff like the article above, acting as Apple apologists or as Apple boost

  7. Comment - Let's keep the iPad in proper perspective (Mar 31, 2010 - 8:41 AM)

I have to carry a couple of dongles along with the power-cord wherever I take it.
