  1. Review - AudioShaker

    1.0 Beta 11.5 (Aug 4, 2003)

It does not allow you to play by picking your mood, it allows you to play by picking your genre.

I don't know about you, but I don't often feel "rocky" or "classically" or "ambienty". I feel sad, happy, energetic, slow, angry, angst-ridden, bored, etc., etc., etc.

  2. Review - FeedDemon

    1.0 Beta 2A (Jul 7, 2003)

Holy cow, Nick has done it again. Easily the best looking RSS aggregator around, and finally a replacement for my Avant Browser "News" group that I open six or seven times a day.

  3. Review - Rights Management Add-on for Internet Explorer

    1.0 Beta (May 22, 2003)

You're kidding, right? Against DRM? If it must be hidden, that doesn't mean it's not good. DRM is used to protect proprietary digital assets, as well as encrypt them. Can you cause a message to expire, or prevent it from being copied/printed with PGP? No. That's what DRM is all about -- putting the power to expire rights to content in the hands of the content creator. Think about being a web designer, and giving clients access to a staged version of their website, only they can't snarf the HTML, or steal the images. That's what DRM allows you to do.

  4. Review - Golden Keywords

    1.0 RC4 (May 13, 2003)

They did it. Support went back and forth with me, debugging the problem, providing patches, and eventually using a new system to parse HTML from the sites/pages requested. Golden Keywords allowed us to find popular keywords that we were missing, and will no doubt help us rise even higher in our search results. GREAT JOB!

  5. Review - Golden Keywords

    1.0 RC3 (May 9, 2003)

    1) Your record here says RC3, the download says RC2
    2) NO, it still doesn't collect anything. Not a single thing, and we are following every relevant RFC in the book.

    1.0 RC3 (Sep 19, 2001 - 9:06 PM)

I thought you guys might be interested in hearing this

I’ve written a piece entitled “Nine Eleven”, combined with audio samples from news broadcasts and speeches, in memory of those who perished and those who lost loved ones in the recent terrorist attacks against the United States. Please do what you can to get the word out. I want everyone who has been affected by this tragedy to know that they are not alone in their sorrow; they are not alone in their anguish. God Bless America.

  7. Comment - What is Ginger?

    1.0 RC3 (Jan 12, 2001 - 11:29 AM)

Did any of you guys read the patent? It automatically detects if the user is pitching forward or back and adjusts the base of the vehicle accordingly. It's actually referenced as a transportation method suitable for sufferers of Parkinson's Disease.

A scooter isn't earth shattering. A self-powered scooter that will balance all by itself is, since the patent deals mainly with the system that keeps the balance and not any one particular scooter design.
