    1 fifth of eligible voters bothered to vote in our last town budget election, from that one fifth a majority rejected the budget because of the education portion of said budget was too high. "It was good enough in my day" I believe is the favored reason. No one wants to take the tax hit but you get what you pay for.
    In 5 years time we will be able to claim the US is in the top 20 nations for math & science.
