Publisher's Description

Daphne was born to kill a windows process and became almost a task manager repalcement. You can kill a process by dragging the mouse over the windows, by right-clicking the process in the main process list, or by typing its name with the "Kill all by name" command. You can set a any window to be always on top, to be transparent, to be enable, et cetera.

About anonymous statistics:

Daphne includes since version 2.00 an anonymous statistical-data collection module which collects usage-data and sends it to the statistical database in this web site. The reason for this new feature is helping Daphne's development process to focus in popular features. It works like an anonymous automated survey.
Which kind of data is collected:

The information collected includes how often certain Daphne's features are used, the values for some Daphne configuration preferences, which operating system version and platform Daphne is running over. This list is updated to match the data collected in the lates version of this module. You can see some results here.
How it works:

The first time this module sends information to the database, it receives an anonymous unique identifier. This identifier is used in subsecuent deliveries in order to unify data sent by a single Daphne user. In no way this identifier could be used to identify personal data about the user. The one and only purpose of this number is to know that two different blocks of statistical data correspond to the same user. This improves a lot the statistical information collected about which features are more popular.
Privacy:

This module won't collect personal information of any kind. It won't send your name, mail address, nor the name of the processes you are running on your computer, to the database. Daphne won't collect data about the way you use other software running over your computer. This is valid for Daphne as it is provided by this website in its binary, and source code forms.
