First of all, the download size is rather large. And nowhere easier compared to e-icons but to say its sucks, its rather harsh coz its free.

Yeah!! this a good program to start your own hub. It is fairly simple program to get up and running in no time. I started my hub (late421.no-ip.org) and now have over 50 regulars with all the newest stuff!! And since I am the one running the Hub I get all the stuff first. You can even get other scripts to add trivia and such!! Way Cool!! So remember to pause for the cause at 4:20!!!!

My only other major gripe is there is no public discussion forum on http://www.neo-modus.com/
I wonder if resume download breaks when in passive mode?

This is the first version I've played with and I'm impressed. Very nicely done indeed, and especially perfect for novice users. Still a few small quirks to be worked out, but overall this is a great achievement.

A correction...This is a fine program but NOT meant for home computers but rather for schools, institutions ect. After talking w/ deep freeze support all issues and problems were resolved. Believe me..it does work..does do what it says though.

Error on load: bleem1_6BETA.exe is not a valid win32 application
I'm using Windows 2000 and have seen this problem on EVERY version of bleem. And this 1.6beta is the first update to it in a very long time. I do not recommend buying this program as it obviously comes in second place to Bleemcast in the developers' eyes.

Jon... great hub program. I don't like the fact about all the rules though. Now I have to upgrade my computer just to be able to get into 5 GB hubs. Keep up the good work!

this is absolutely the best peer2peer network hub so far.
there are still some quality issues to be resolved, and the scripting engine feels a bit ad-hoc, missing out on a few vital functions like easy file access and debugging support.

Well i am 1/2 the owner of the No Rules Hub network and i just like to say that there are some downsides to the hub...for one it relys way to much on your bandwith...after I hit 315 users it begins to lagg preaty bad. second it reqiures a lot of processing power...a hub owner needs at least a 700mhz if he wants to be able to run a hub...and 3rd is that the multi search can serously lagg down the hub so take causion hub runners when using this with other hubs. But overall i think this is a very fun tool to play with...i enjoy running a hub and it is a pain sometimes but they are little things that need to be improved somehow...Neo-Modus has done a great job with this stuff and i cannot wait till the new hub build is out

disk 2. Where can I find that?
I have unpacked the file with WinRar.

As a software developer and a student, I have found Direct Connect a very easy, simple to use freeware application. I find it better then Napster/KaZaA/IRC/Scour or any file sharing software currently out. I do take into concideration that some of the Hubs to have restrictions which I find somewhat unfair, but I guess if you run a Hub on your computer then you should set limits. I hope to see more come from this application and hope it becomes well known and very popular.

So I'm doing various things on my hub, like joining a new network and stuff, and one of my ops asks me why the hub's not listed in the public list. So I go and look at a newly downloaded version of the list, and, sure enough, it's not even listed, even though my hub's been running for a few hours already. What the dilly, yo? It worked for a while but won't work anymore. My computer locked up while I had the hub running and I can't get it to reregister and show up to anyone. I can't even log into it. It won't let me register the hub with anyone else, either. I'm not sure what to do. It grayed out the "Register hub with" option. If anyone can help me, please email me at reedboy@snet.net

i am having the same problem as the one detailed below, i am using a cable modem and have set up my hub using dns2go and i too am the only one that can connect to it.
my freind how is also a cable modem user can see my hub listed in PUBLIC but when he tries to connect to it, it says (after a while) "disconnected from hub"
Why is this happening - hope someone can help me...

this hub software 1.0.23 keeps on disconnecting must of my user at the same time only like 5 to 10 don't get kicked out so i went back to 1.0.17 and it has not kicked anyone out so if u can tell me how to fix it at chananny_1@hotmail.com or and your next upgrade of the dc hub software

Direct Connect is like Napster for warez, and running a hub is almost as easy as connecting to it in the first place. More scripts WOULD be appreciated however.
