Alarm++ solves your reminder and scheduling needs. Create multiple alarms which can repeat at various intervals, from simple to complex, from one to forever or until a specific date. Each alarm can repeat at many different intervals, such as specific weekdays, weeks, months, and weeks of the month. They can also repeat any number of times, from one to forever or until a specific date, every few minutes, hours, days, months, or years. You can set alarms for every Tuesday, every other week, Friday the 13th, the second Thursday of every third month, etc. Events can even be ignored if they occur a specific number of minutes, hours, or days in the past.
- Removed choice for sending e-mail via Outlook. If you currently have this option selected, it will still function, but Alarm++ will recommend you switch to using an SMTP server. Outlook support will be removed completely in a future version
- Clearer error message for when the alarm file passed on the command line doesn't exist
- Attempt to save the alarm file again in the unusual event of a file system problem. If the second attempt doesn't work, Alarm++ will recommend that you save the file elsewhere (using File > Save As)
- Removed Select Full Row option. It's now off, like Windows Explorer
- Removed event window On Top option. Event windows are now always displayed on top of other windows
- Removed event window Display on taskbar option. Event windows are now never displayed on the taskbar

Six years later, this is still the king of reminder apps.
Anything you'd want to do regarding appointments, reminders, dates, times, it'll do it.

This software is worth every penny I've paid and more because it's powerful, flexible, and most of all stable. I no longer think about my schedule because I know I can count on my alarms to play, programs to launch, and email to be checked. If you're a fan of David Allen's Getting Things Done, you will appreciate the features here and will be glad to have this on your virtual tool belt. For those who use screenreaders, it is very accessible and easy to use. You get fast, friendly technical support if needed too. That rarely happens, and it's good to know you've got it just in case. All I can say is that if you need alarms or reminders, you owe it to yourself to give this program a try.

Excellent alarm app! Any kind of timing you can think of is handled. Can do popup windows, email notices, run apps, play sound, play video. Just a great app for reminders.
