AppSnap is an application that simplifies installation of software. It automatically figures out the latest version, downloads the installer and then installs the software in one seamless step. AppSnap is primarily designed for Windows which does not have any decent package manager such as APT and RPM as in the Linux world.
- Support for Firefox and Thunderbird add-ons
- Update detection and self-update without reinstallation

Reviewing 1.3.0 (Aug 15, 2007)
Nice concept, very poor interface and very buggy. Not to mention some of the apps on here need to not auto-install, otherwise you'll end up with tons of sponsor apps swamping your system. Detection of already installed software is very poor.
Reviewing 1.3.0-pre2 (Apr 27, 2007)
1. Number of supported apps hopefully will increase...
2. Wrong, older version reported for many...
3. Fail to connect to servers on some....
Admirable concept, but seems way overwhelming...
