Brennig's RIP. The author joined Ashampoo Corp., and his webpage redirects to the producer and reseller.

[Note: Price was not a factor in my rating of this software.]
Not as fast as ACDSee Classic (no cache ahead or read behind, slower when navigating a directory with a large number of files and thumbnails).
But, on the other hand, it does more than ACDSee Classic, which means (for one thing) that if I ever switch from ACDSee Classic to Brennig's, I can do away with JPEG Resizer ( http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail/1098909247/1 ).
I'm not switching yet, but I've got my eye on this multimedia handler. If the performance improves a bit, I'm all over it.
